The operation is performed under a general anaesthetic and usually takes about two and a half to three hours.
Your surgeon will make a cut on the line of the areola (the dark area around your nipple) and a vertical cut underneath your areola enabling the removal of excess fat and tissue. Your surgeon will the reposition the nipple creating a higher contour of the breast.
A piece of tissue from each breast will be sent to Histology for analysis.
As with any cosmetic procedure you will be advised about smoking, weight control and taking a healthy diet before embarking on the surgery.
